Half of the exponent \(m\) in the smooth exponential roll-off applied to the coupled ZernikeB2 radial-angular (disk) modal coefficients (logical dimensions 0 and 1).

where \(n\) and \(k\) are the radial and angular mode numbers and \(N_r\), \(K\) are the corresponding maximum resolved modes. If None, only the top-mode Heaviside cutoff (if any) is applied to the disk modes.
